brief history: Kyler was born to Fred and Elena on June 3, as the second oldest. He was born three weeks early but was still a very healthy baby. Growing up, he was often ostracized for his heritage background like everyone else in his family. Of course, it wasn’t as bad for him, but it still hurt nevertheless. Unlike his older brother who would throw punches, Kyler would keep to himself even if it made the situation worse for him. He was never one for violence. If someone hit him, he’d never hit back, making him go home with a broken nose or a black eye on few occasions. This worried his parents and made his older brother angry, but he opted out of having him beat up his assailants.
When he hit high school, the bullying died down. It was still there, but people seemed to mature. People were more interested in dating and getting drunk. Plus, having the town know all your older brother was a Navy Seal, scared people off. Kyler remained a quiet kid in high school, only interacting if he needed to. He would delve into his books and write short stories and poems or solve hard puzzles when he could. If he weren't working at the family-owned garage, he’d be reading.
As much as Kyler would’ve liked to follow the path of Christian and the men in the family, he decided not to enlist in the Navy when he was 15. He didn’t believe he could offer any help, despite his high knowledge in language and photographic memory. His parents shrugged it off like nothing; happy someone wasn’t heading off to battle. It was one less son to keep them up at night, making them question if some officer would come to their door to tell them a son died. He, of course, has much respect for his brother, uncles, father and grandfathers.
Despite his lack of interest in the family business, he still found ways to help out. He may not know how to fix anything, but he’s a great file organizer and phone person. Kyler isn’t much of an outdoors guy, but he’ll occasionally swim, fish and walk with his siblings.
After he had graduated high school, his family moved to Hickstead, to be closer to the Cadwallader family and his father’s side. Plus, the DC life was a bit too stuffy and getting way too expensive for their liking. So, they sold the family business and moved to Willow Bridge City.
Kyler attends the University and is studying Art History and painting, and his brother, Tyler, a few grades lower. Natalie is still in secondary and is loving it, and is hoping to get a horse to board in a few years.

Photographic Memory • Kyler doesn’t know if it’s biological, but he always had it, making him remember things extremely well.
Diving • Kyler was always someone who did well with heights and any gymnastics, and diving was a great combination of the two. He competed while in the states but stopped when his family moved to England. Though, he does on occasion try to find time to practice.
Painting • His grandfather got him into painting at a very young age, and Kyler hooked onto it. He usually paints people using oils but has been getting his toes wet in other mediums.

Essays • He can write essays on things he likes, but essays for English is something he struggles with.
Social Media • He has facebook and snap chat but rarely uses it, so texting and phone calls are best.

habits: Swims laps 3-4 times a week as his source of exercise, 85% vegetarian
overall personality: Kyler is a very sweet and intelligent guy who loves his family. He holds people that are dear to him very close and would lose a limb and few organs for them. Sadly, his chronic bitch face tends to deter people from getting to know him. They automatically assume he hates the world and everyone in it, which isn't true at all! Due to his scholarly nature, Kyler loves having intellectual and profound conversations with people. A lot of what he learns are from conversations and stories with people at the library, on the street, or with his grandparents. If he is interested in something or wants to learn more, he will dive into it head first and study it for days on end until he considers himself an expert.
His intelligence can also come off as bragging or annoying to some people, making him self-conscious about when to talk intellectually in public. At home, he is a loose cannon, spewing terms and ideas that his family has no clue about. The downside of this is he will talk and talk for hours on end about some subject or debate how an author wrote a book. Due to his excessive rambling, he tries to save his excitement in the privacy of his friends at home from the judgmental eyes of other peers and people.
When meeting new people, he is extremely polite and willing to socialize if he does not scare them off first. Once someone gets to know him, he or she will see he is a regular guy trying to make sure he is in the approval of his family and figuring out his life's path. Seeing Kyler is not enlisting in the Navy, he struggles with the idea of letting the family tradition down the drain. Despite his parents and relatives approving of his life decision, he still worries about the notion of disapproval.

Oh, didn’t everyone know it? Kodi thought he wasn't readable, but when someone was in love or chasing, it was evident. No matter who it was. After witnessing the feelings between Ama and Christian, Kyler was pretty much a master at realizing who liked who. It was a blessing and a curse, but he managed to keep quiet about certain things. Especially when it came to being best friends with the person, which was always the biggest thing that held people back. In Kyler’s eyes, it was better to be broken hearted for a few weeks than years upon years.
“Yeah, it’s obvious. Like really obvious.” Now, it may not be visible to other people, but come on. Kodi had liked Elena for years, and if people didn't recognize that by now, then they were blind as can be.
As for the Shawn thing, everyone knew that too. He and Kodi used to be best friends as well, from what Kyler remembered. Of course, he never delved into other people’s lives like that. Not because he had a desire, but because it was out of respect. The incident was in the news a bit, and in all honesty, Elena would be stupid not to be over someone like that. Why date someone who became so violent they hurt another person to the point of almost killing them?
“I mean, she would be silly to be still in love with him, don’t you think? If you were best friends, she would have worried about you. If she doesn’t, then I don’t believe she’s that great of a friend. Better to be rejected now than ten years down the line, right? You should--”
Kyler stopped and noticed the girl in the crowds. “Looks like she’s here. Are you going to talk to her, or not?”
